Guanzhong has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Math from UNC Chapel Hill, an MA in Economics from Columbia University, and an MS in Marketing from VU Amsterdam. He joined UBC Sauder’s Marketing PhD program in 2021 with a focus on consumer behaviour.

Julie has a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the UBC Sauder School of Business. Her broad industry experience includes working as a management consultant at ZS, a demand planner at Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, and the operations manager of a small-scale food producer. Julie joined UBC Sauder’s Marketing PhD program in 2020 with a focus on consumer behaviour.

Xixi has a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science from University of Waterloo and an MSc degree in Statistics from University of British Columbia. She joined UBC Sauder’s Marketing PhD program in quantitative modeling in 2018.

Lucy has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Accounting from Boston College. After two years of working experience as an auditor at Deloitte, she joined UBC Sauder’s Marketing PhD program in 2021, focusing on consumer behaviour.

Siddhanth has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of British Columbia, and joined UBC Sauder's Marketing PhD program in 2019. His research interests include sensory perception, hedonic consumption and social influences in the marketplace.

Xilin has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and a Master’s degree in Marketing from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joined the PhD program in 2022. He does quantitative marketing research, with a focus on structural models and machine learning applications.

William has a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Economics, Policy, and Organizations from Carnegie Mellon University. He joined the PhD program in 2022. He is interested in prosocial behavior and consumer judgment and decision making.

Zining has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a Master’s degree from Erasmus University. She joined UBC Sauder’s Marketing PhD program in 2018. She is interested in digital marketing, cause marketing, econometric models and machine learning.

Shangwen received his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Beijing Normal University, China, and joined UBC Sauder’s Marketing PhD program in 2019. His research interests include understanding how social context and attribute framing affect one’s judgement and decision making.
