Course Consultants
Part-time tutors, markers, contributors to course materials (off-campus)
The UBC Real Estate Division’s academic team includes off-campus consultants working in our diverse education programs as markers, tutors, and/or contributors to course materials. We welcome applications from qualified experts who may be interested joining our team. We will keep your resume on file for when future opportunities arise that match your experience and capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- post-secondary education and professional accreditation related to the subject area
- energy, enthusiasm and expertise in your subject area, with a proven employment track record in the subject area and familiarity with current practices
- experience teaching adult learners or similar educational experience is an asset, but is not required
- a good command of the English Language, with strong writing skills

If you are interested in working on course materials, it would be helpful if you could include a writing sample. As well, we are always seeking out new topics for innovative courses — if you have a topic that you would like to pursue, please feel free to submit a proposal. Finally, please outline your compensation expectations, on a dollars per hour basis.
