Several BUSI courses require the use of the IBM SPSS statistical software. The choice of software depends on the course(s) that you plan on taking and the time period over which those courses will be completed.
Free SPSS for UBC Students
UBC IT offers SPSS free-of-charge to UBC students registered in degree credit courses. Please review the UBC IT SPSS webpage for more information. You should follow the downloading instructions in the section Standalone/Home Use Version – Non UBC Owned Device. You should download the most recent version of IMB SPSS Statistics. Please note you will require a Student CWL. in order to download the free SPSS software. Also, your course needs to be posted in the UBC Student Information System – there may be a few days’ delay in processing this after your course registration with the Real Estate Division.

Proof of enrolment can be your Course History report showing your name and current course registration. You may upload a pdf of this report or print it and fax it to the number provided. It may take up to five business days for the registration to be approved.
