UBC Bachelor of Commerce

Overview

Your path to success

A UBC BCom will give you the broad range of business basics and the management skills you need to thrive in any career. With our diverse array of course offerings, you’ll have a chance to develop your critical thinking, creative problem solving, communication, organization and leadership abilities.

In each year of study of our program you'll take a combination of core courses and electives to build competencies in each area of business. In your third and fourth years, you’ll get to shape your own career path by taking courses that focus on one of ten primary disciplines.

Learning beyond the classroom

At UBC, there are many rewarding experiential learning programs and activities to complement your studies and cultivate your personal and professional growth. Join a club, compete in a case competition, run for student office, organize a conference, study abroad, be a mentor—the possibilities are too numerous to list.

Global opportunities

UBC Sauder has a distinctly international perspective on business. Expand your cultural and geographical horizons by participating in a study abroad program, the Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management specialization, or UBC Sauder Social Entrepreneurship Kenya.
