Robert H. Lee Graduate School

A comprehensive business education

The graduate school was established at UBC Sauder School of Business in November 2006, and is named in recognition of Robert H. Lee for his generous gift to graduate education at the school as well as his long-term support to UBC. Dr. Lee’s valuable gift supports the development of educational facilities, technological improvements, new curriculum in emerging areas, as well as marketing initiatives to benefit graduate programs.

About our graduate programs

The Robert H. Lee Graduate School at UBC Sauder School of Business delivers a diverse range of high-quality, well-regarded graduate programs, including the UBC MBA, which ranks in the top 100 programs in the world by the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2016.

Candidates of the graduate school learn business skills and theory from the very people who helped create today’s business world. UBC Sauder professors and instructors are renowned for their outstanding business research - ranked #20 worldwide by the Financial Times – as well as their leadership role in industry. This research and experience are not only integral to creating impact in organizations locally and globally, but also shape the education learned in the classroom.

Career outcomes

Our graduates can be found driving change and solving problems in the offices and boardrooms of companies in Vancouver, the rest of Canada, and around the globe—from the UK and Hong Kong to India and the US.

Career development opportunities are woven through the programs at the graduate school including mandatory professional development workshops. UBC Sauder’s Business Career Centre (BCC) comprises of career coaches who are well-versed in what today’s employers are looking for, and have designed programs and services to help shape our candidates’ careers, including mentoring and training programs and experiential learning.

In the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2016, UBC Sauder was ranked #1 in North America for international faculty and #3 in North America for international students. This not only reflects the international perspective on business that runs throughout the school, but also the growing demand for leaders who think globally.
