UBC’s seed funds invest risk capital in new and innovative startups in which a core team member is a UBC student, faculty, researcher or alumni within three years of graduation. UBC Sauder’s Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) - Vancouver offers an unparalleled network of mentors, academic experts and students to help founders transform their enabling technologies into innovative companies.

Giving to UBC’s seed funds or CDL-Vancouver supports entrepreneurs in the crucial early stages of bringing their scientific breakthrough, intellectual property or revolutionary business model to market.
