Speakers

Hangjun Yang (PhD 2011)
Professor at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing

Hangjun is a professor at the School of International Trade and Economics in University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). He received his PhD in transport economics and management science from UBC Sauder School of Business in 2011. Hangjun is a well-published Chinese scholar in the area of transport economics, supply chain management and logistics management. His research results are often quoted by both international media (BBC) and Chinese mainstream media (CGTV, People’s Daily).

Wei Shi (IMBA 2020)
Senior Production Manager at Johnson & Johnson

Wei is a Senior Production Manager at Johnson & Johnson. In this position, he is responsible for consumer liquid manufacturing operations as well as strategizing for project implementation. He is an IMBA candidate from UBC Sauder School of Business set to graduate in 2020. Wei has 7 years of first-hand experience with supply chains in a multinational company, with expertise in cost improvement and project management.
