Linda Seymour

Linda Seymour was appointed Group General Manager, President and Chief Executive Officer for HSBC Bank Canada effective September 2020. She is a member of the Board of HSBC Bank Canada and is Chair of the Board of HSBC Asset Management (Canada) Limited.

Linda began her career in Commercial Banking, and has held a number of progressively senior roles at the bank, including: Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Banking; Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking, Ontario Region; and Chief Operating Officer, Wealth and Personal Banking.

Linda is active in the community as a member of the Business Council of Canada and the Business Council of British Columbia. She served a number of years as Executive sponsor for HSBC Bank Canada’s Balance Network, which focusses on providing advice, guidance and support in the recruitment, development and engagement of a gender-balanced workforce.

She was named to the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in 2015.

Linda has a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University. She has also completed the High Impact Leadership programme towards earning the INSEAD Certificate in Global Management.
