Head of Global Strategy, Microsoft's Customer Transformation Team

Howe is based in London UK, where he leads Global Strategy for Microsoft's Customer Transformation Team. Microsoft’s Customer Transformation Team provide integrated, industry aligned advisory capabilities that help shape innovative and transformational opportunities for Microsoft’s top strategic customers and partners. The team focuses exclusively on deals that exceed $100M USD by establishing a clear commercialization approach of Microsoft’s 1st and 3rd party solutions to meet our customer’s evolving business needs. Howe's Global Strategy Team is responsible for defining/evolving overall business and GTM strategy, operating model, methodologies, tools, engagement offerings/patterns, business intelligence & insights as well as sales/execution excellence. In addition to his role as the Head of Global Strategy, Howe is also currently an advisor for Microsoft for Start-ups, helping pre-seed start-ups develop their vision, strategy and product/market fit.

Prior to his current role, Howe holds over 10 years of management consulting experience including to senior leadership roles such as National Practice Leader for Microsoft Canada Digital Advisory Services, National Leader for PwC’s Digital Enablement Practice and PwC Canada’s Google Alliance Leader. His experiences span across financial services, real estate, retail, telco, transportation and public sector in Europe, Canada, the U.S., Latin America and China.

Howe actively contributes back to the academic community as a regular guest lecturer for Rotman School of Business, mentor for UBC’s Strategic Consulting Mentorship Program (SCMP) and Founding Member and Alumni Advisor of Lambda Phi Epsilon Toronto Chapter. Howe was recognized for his community contributions with the prestigious University of Toronto Arbor Award in 2021. Howe has also taken on numerous leadership roles in not-for-profit organizations including Stepping Stones International based in Botswana and Daytrippers Children’s Charity in Toronto. Outside of work, Howe enjoys travelling, snowboarding, water polo and Chinese watercolor painting.
