Heather is regional head of Canada for the Securities Division, responsible for managing the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) and Equities businesses into Canada. Heather is also head of the North American Pension, Endowment & Foundation Solutions Group in the Securities Division. The group is responsible for providing pensions, endowments and foundations with cross asset solutions, strategic initiatives as well as private placement and co-investment opportunities. Previously, she was global head of Commodity Investor Marketing, where she was responsible for marketing commodities as an alternative asset class and as a means for clients to achieve portfolio diversification.

Heather joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as an executive director within FICC in London. In 1999, she moved to New York and became head of the North American Commodity Investor business. Heather served in this capacity until 2000, when she became the global head of the Commodity Investor business. She served as co-chair of the FICC Women’s Network from 2003 to 2004. Heather was named managing director in 2003 and partner in 2008.

Prior to joining the firm, Heather worked as a director and fixed income sales manager for Scotia Capital Markets, London, from 1985 to 1997.

Heather earned a BCom from the University of British Columbia in 1983.
